About me

Here are some information and documents about me:

About me

I am 21 years old and originally from Hungary. A few years ago, I made the move to the Netherlands to pursue my degree and build a career in technology. I’m a firm believer in directness and honesty—both in my personal life and in the code I write. I don’t really have traditional hobbies; for me, tech is what I do. When I’m not at my desk working on systems or managing servers, I’m usually spending my time with friends. Whether we are hanging out in person or playing games online, I value the time spent with my circle more than anything else. I’ve found that the same loyalty and collaboration I give to my friends is exactly what I bring to the teams I work with in my professional life.

IT @ NHL Stenden

My education at NHL Stenden is defined by a Design-Based Education (DBE) model, which replaces traditional classroom theory with high-stakes technical challenges provided by external organizations. This unique framework has allowed me to operate as a backend developer for major partners, including the national MDT (Maatschappelijke Diensttijd) initiative and the Maritime IT Security (MITS) group. Rather than working on hypothetical assignments, I am responsible for building and maintaining the actual systems these organizations require to function. My work within these partnerships focuses on the core pillars of backend engineering: architecting scalable database schemas, developing secure RESTful APIs, and managing containerized server environments. I treat every university project as a professional contract, ensuring that the code I deliver is documented, secure, and production-ready. By bridging the gap between my studies and professional industry standards, I have gained extensive experience in translating complex stakeholder requirements into reliable, functional backend logic that meets the needs of real-world clients.

Leadership & Organization

Serving as the President of Think Wireless has been a central pillar of my professional development, moving me beyond solo coding into the realm of team coordination. In this role, I focus on the strategic side of leadership—managing project roadmaps, facilitating communication between team members, and ensuring that our technical execution stays aligned with our organizational goals. On several occasions, I have stepped into Project Management roles because I enjoy the challenge of organizing a project’s lifecycle. My approach to management is less about being assertive and more about being a facilitator; I focus on maintaining the GitHub repository, tracking milestones, and ensuring the team has a clear path forward. While I am a developer at heart, these experiences have taught me how to handle the administrative side of a project and how to bridge the gap between a high-level idea and a structured, technical plan. I view leadership as the ability to provide the organization a team needs to stay productive and focused on a common goal.

Professional Recognition & Social Impact

I believe that technical skills are most valuable when they are used to support and improve the community. This philosophy has led me to seek out projects with a tangible social impact, most notably through the MDT (Maatschappelijke Diensttijd) initiative via Netwerk Time To Connect. By developing backend systems for platforms that support vulnerable and lonely residents, I gained experience in building tools that carry real responsibility. For these contributions, I was awarded the Europass Mobility certificate, which serves as a formal validation of my ability to deliver professional-grade solutions within community-focused frameworks. My commitment to social impact extends beyond the digital world. I have a history of volunteering in non-technical fields, where I’ve focused on direct community support and helping those around me. These experiences have shaped my perspective as a developer, teaching me the importance of empathy, reliability, and clear communication. Whether I am architecting a database or volunteering my time on the ground, my goal is to contribute to projects that leave a positive, lasting mark on society.

Looking Ahead & Interests

My long-term goal is to transition into Systems and Software Architecture, moving beyond the implementation of code to the high-level design of complex digital environments. My work on projects like the MITS multiplayer engine and the Deafinity Stories CMS has sparked a deep interest in how individual components—databases, APIs, and server infrastructures—integrate to form a cohesive, resilient system. I am particularly focused on the challenge of designing "blueprints" that are scalable, secure by design, and easy to maintain over long lifecycles. This interest in architecture extends to the physical and virtual infrastructure as well. I am a strong advocate for self-hosted solutions and maintain my own server environments—including the infrastructure currently powering this website. By managing the full stack from the hardware up, I’ve gained practical insights into network security, deployment pipelines, and server reliability. My objective is to evolve into a role where I can oversee the full technical roadmap of a project, making the critical structural decisions that allow software to handle high loads and complex requirements while remaining stable and efficient.
